Continuing the trend set at the World Cross Country Championships (
previous post), Ethopians placed well at the Paris Marathon today, taking first in the men's race and a close second in the women's (
race site). Tsegaye Kebede won the men's race in 2:06.33. Martha Komu of Kenya won the women's race in 2:25.29, pipping favorite Worknech Tola in the final 200 meters.
