Lel of Kenya was the first man across the line at the London Marathon today in a personal best of 2:05:15. Irina
Mikitenko of Germany won the women's race in 2:24:14. It was only her second marathon. American Ryan Hall yo-
yo'd with the lead pack after 30k, eventually finishing fifth in 2:06:17 - a personal best by over two minutes (
